Sustainability
As a highly innovative company, we assume responsibility—both each and every one of our employees and we as a company.
Our environment, resources and society are very important to us. That is why we strive every day to treat them sustainably and responsibly.
This means taking responsibility in economic, social and environmental terms. We take responsibility for our products, resources, production and supply chain, employees and society.
For us, this means above all never standing still, but always striving for improvement.
In recognition of our successful sustainability management, we were once again awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in April 2026.

Anyone who uses our professional cleaning equipment is already making a significant contribution to sustainability. Our product portfolio is designed for cleaning and therefore helps preserve premises and objects. Our high-quality products save energy and resources, operate particularly quietly and deliver perfect cleaning results. Thanks to a multi-stage filtration system—comprising a HEPA 13 filter cartridge, filter basket and filter bag in our ERA ZERO model range—they ensure exceptionally clean exhaust air and protect both the user and everyone nearby.
When developing and designing our products, outstanding quality and functionality come first. At the same time, we attach the utmost importance to making them as sustainable and resource-efficient as possible.
Already today, the proportion of recycled plastic in our dry vacuum cleaners and selected cleaning trolleys is up to 80%. We are continuously working to reduce the proportion of virgin plastics in our products and to increase the use of recycled plastics.
Selected products are available upon request with a financial contribution to support recognized climate protection projects. For these products, we have calculated the associated CO₂ emissions in accordance with the principles of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and offset them by supporting internationally recognized climate protection projects.
In addition to a compact, ergonomic and lightweight design, durability and reliability are important aspects of our product development. Before being launched on the market, our motors undergo extensive load and endurance testing. Their performance is tested under defined loads over extended operating periods.
With the efficient, energy-saving 700-watt motors of the ERA TEC ZERO and ERA PRO ZERO, our customers benefit from an exceptionally low sound pressure level of just 49 dB. The powerful ERA iGO ZERO cordless dry vacuum cleaner, equipped with two 18-volt batteries and a 300-watt EC motor, achieves a sound pressure level of just 58 dB.
Right from the product development stage, we ensure that repairs are easy to carry out. We also offer our customers rapid spare parts availability within 48 hours and a very wide range of spare parts.
Sustainability plays an important role not only in product development and production, but also at the disposal stage. That is why our products are made from recyclable materials.
For selected products, we also calculated CO2 emissions in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol using the ‘cradle-to-customer plus end-of-life’ approach. This covers all emissions—from the extraction of raw materials and production through to the disposal of the product and its packaging.
On this basis, we offset unavoidable emissions by supporting internationally recognised climate projects. We take care of offsetting the corresponding emissions for you. These products carry the ZERO logo.
With SPRiNTUS dry vacuum cleaners, you can impress your customers with extremely low energy costs at their premises. At the same time, you automatically help reduce CO2 emissions. The ERA TEC ZERO and ERA PRO ZERO dry vacuum cleaners feature continuously variable electronic power control, enabling operation in ECO mode with an input power of just 250 watts.
Using a fleet of 100 ERA TEC ZERO or ERA PRO ZERO units in ECO mode offers the following maximum savings potential compared with a fleet of 100 conventional 900-watt vacuum cleaners:
A fleet of 100 ERA TEC ZERO or ERA PRO ZERO units can save up to €17,031 and 15.6 tonnes of CO2 per year compared with a fleet of 100 conventional 900-watt vacuum cleaners.

Each year, we calculate our company’s carbon footprint in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol guidelines. Total emissions are divided into three categories, known as scopes.
Scope 1
covers all emissions generated directly by our company, for example by our company-owned vehicle fleet.
Scope 2
covers emissions resulting from purchased energy, such as electricity, while
Scope 3
covers indirect emissions, such as employees’ commutes to work.
As a German company, we are very proud to manufacture our flagship products at our headquarters in Germany. With the opening of our new assembly and logistics centre, we have expanded our production and logistics facilities to 10,000 m2, providing the space needed for further growth at our headquarters over the coming years. In addition, the majority of the value creation for our entire product range takes place at our German headquarters—from product development to marketing and sales. We maintain long-standing relationships and reliable, honest partnerships with our suppliers. When selecting suppliers, we assess them carefully with regard to social and environmental factors.
With their indispensable expertise and dedication, our employees work for our company and our customers every day. They have made SPRiNTUS and its high-quality, innovative products what they are today. As a growing company, we bear responsibility for our employees—our company’s most important asset.
We safeguard secure jobs through successful products and responsible business practices, and we do everything we can to create the best possible working environment—whether through professional development opportunities, support for balancing work and family life, or measures that promote employee health. Ergonomic, modern workplaces are a matter of course for us. Regular team-building activities and company events are important to us in fostering a positive working atmosphere. As a steadily growing company, we are proud to have many long-serving employees.
Our business activities extend beyond company and national borders. Therefore, in our business activities, we consider not only economic but also environmental and social aspects.
For us, taking responsibility means continuously developing our products and processes and initiating improvements where we can make a concrete impact.
For us, taking responsibility means continuously developing our products and processes while considering environmental, social and economic aspects.
This includes, among other things, developing durable and energy-efficient products and using recycled plastics in selected product ranges. In addition, we calculate the CO₂ emissions of our company and selected products and work to reduce them.
For selected products, we offer, upon request, a financial contribution to support recognized climate protection projects. In April 2026, SPRiNTUS was once again awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal.
For us, taking responsibility means developing and manufacturing sustainable and resource-efficient products. We manufacture our top products at our company headquarters in Germany. We also strive to use resources as efficiently as possible while relying on renewable energy.
In addition to avoiding and reducing emissions, we consider offsetting to be a further step towards climate protection along our value chain. We have therefore calculated the CO₂ emissions of our company and selected products. Based on these calculations, we take measures to avoid and reduce emissions. By supporting internationally recognized climate protection projects, we can offset unavoidable emissions. For this purpose, we work with ClimatePartner.
Greenhouse gases such as CO2 are distributed evenly throughout the atmosphere, meaning that their concentration is approximately the same everywhere on Earth. Emissions that cannot be avoided locally can therefore be offset through climate projects elsewhere. These projects demonstrably reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make an important contribution to combating global warming. To offset our CO2 emissions, we support the following recognised climate projects certified in accordance with international standards.
